It is important to understand that although these are listed as introduction ski tours anyone undertaking them needs to have a good understanding of snow conditions, avalance risks, rescue skills and the ability to navigate even in poor weather; and carry all the relevant safety kit - see our safety page.

These ski touring routes tend to be easier angle slopes, not crossing glaciers or needing ropes etc, and they tend to be routes that you ski down the same line you skinned up so making navigation and the option to turn around easier.
