A classic walk taking in the impressive waterfalls at Dormillouse.
Description:
From the parking take the footpath to Dormillouse, it climbs steeply to the village with stunning views of the waterfall. Just before the village take a turn west sign posted the lac Palluel follow this up a steep path in the trees. As the path leaves the trees you come to junction turn Northwest, it should be signed to Lac Palluel, this path lead up lac with stunning views and lots of streams and waterfalls. From the lac cross the outflow from the lac and pick up a path heading roughly south, it traverses the hill side and you will find lots of rock cairns.Then it descends to the lac Faravel.
From lac faravel the footpath descends with the outflow from the lac and then heads northeast, giving you great views of the waterfall, it goes down until it reaches the a path junction you came to earlier in the day, keep heading down towards the village and then take the track back to the parking.
