How to use the walking guides

A short and easy walk in a beautiful  valley to a col with great views of the Queyras.

Description:

From the parking below the village, head through the village and pick up the GR 5 foot path heading SE following the torrent des Ayes, this path climbs until it joins a forest road, keep going up (south-ish) to the chalets on route to the Col, just after the path gets steeper and climbs to the col des Ayes.

Descend the same path until you reach the point where you first joined the forest track, and then stay on the forest track as it heads west to the plan Peyrol a great place for a rest by the stream or lake, you then descend by one of the paths on either side of the l’Orceyrette river, (the eastern path stays off the road the most but can be wet and boggy even in summer) both paths lead you back to the les Ayes village and then the parking.
