How to use the ski touring guides

Description:

From the parking at Le Pont de l’Alpe, follow the track (north-east) which zigzags  its way up into the high valley of the Alpe du Lauzet. (In a good year you can just see the roofs of the hamlet above the snow.) Continue north-east up the valley and between some big rock blocks. As it starts to open out you should see the north couloir on your right (south). Head towards it and ascend it to the top. (It is possible to access it via the Col de l’Aiguillette, thus reaching this point from above.)

Descent:

Ski the couloir (beware of rocks just below the snow), then turn left (west) and ski back down the way you came up.
